Blood Tests
When a fasting test is required, the Health Predictions Case Manager will advise your client to fast for 8-10 hours prior but should drink plenty of water to ensure full hydration. The should avoid strenuous exercise before the appointment as this may falsely elevate the results. Medication should be continue to be taken as prescribed. The client will receive a reminder, and be supported in all aspects of their upcoming appointment.
